Remembering 3.11.11, Japan

At 2:46 p.m., on March 11, 2011, a 9.0-magnitude earthquake hit the Pacific coast of Tohoku, Japan, causing a tsunami that devastated many lives and caused a triple meltdown at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant.
Remembering the one year anniversary, hundreds of people demonstrated against the use of nuclear power in Tokyo, Japan. In the evening, hundreds more joined hands around the National Diet Building to remember the lives lost.
